Methanation Catalyst : JW-RS2

It is mainly used to convert natural gas, coal gas, coke oven gas and other syngas into CH4, purify a small amount of carbonic oxide (generally CO+CO2 < 1.2%), and generate inert gas methane through hydrogenation reaction, so that CO+CO2 in the outlet gas of methanation furnace is ≤10PPm (dry basis).

I. Product description

It is mainly used to convert natural gas, coal gas, coke oven gas and other syngas into CH4, purify a small amount of carbonic oxide (generally CO+CO2 < 1.2%), and generate inert gas methane through hydrogenation reaction, so that CO+CO2 in the outlet gas of methanation furnace is ≤10PPm (dry basis).


II. Typical parameter

With nickel as the main active component and alumina balls containing a small amount of auxiliaries as the carrier, the product has excellent activity and thermal stability, whose quality exceeds the international similar product level.

Appearance: Ф 4-6 mm  gray black spherical

Bulk density: 0.90 ± 0.05kg /L

Specific surface area: ~ 100 m2/g

Chemical composition

Ni: ≥14%, Al2O3: ≥70%, and other small amount of auxiliary agent.

Quality indicators (equivalent to industry standard HG2509-2004)

Operating temperature:270-450 ℃
