Introduction to the use of palladium catalyst

1、The catalyst's requirements for raw gas. Whether there is a clear requirement for the feed gas containing water, carbon monoxide, methane, and methyl bromide.
Answer: The palladium-based deoxygenation catalyst (hydrophobic carrier) has the following specific requirements for the feed gas:
Unclear water;
CO<10%;
CH4 has no requirements;
CH3Br <0.5%;
The content of poisonous gases such as HBrcl2 and Hcl is required to be less than 1PPm;

2. After the raw material gas is washed with water, the temperature is normal (20~30℃), even lower in winter. Does it affect the initiation and deoxidation effect of the catalytic reaction? What is the general reaction temperature of the deoxidation catalyst?
Answer: The reaction temperature of the catalyst should be 120℃-250℃ in the presence of high CO and water; the equipment includes a heater in the design, and the palladium catalyst needs to be heated to above 80℃ to activate the raw material gas for the first time. It is an exothermic reaction, so the raw material temperature has little effect;

3. The specification requirements for the reactor.
Answer: Because the removal depth is not high, carbon steel is sufficient; the ratio of height to diameter>4:1
