Introduction of adsorption and removal of air pollutants VOCs
In recent years, as the human living environment has become worse and worse, the control of air pollutant indicators by governments of various countries has become increasingly strict. Therefore, the adsorption and removal of atmospheric pollutants is the issue that everyone is most concerned about.
At present, the best method for the adsorption and removal of VOCs gas is to use zeolite molecular sieve to adopt the principle of variable temperature adsorption to adsorb and concentrate VOCS gas. The concentrated gas is then catalyzed and combusted into H2O and CO2, and then discharged to the atmosphere.
Common forms of zeolite molecular sieves are: powder, granular, honeycomb
how to use zeolite molecular sieves, such as VOCS gas?
1. Used in zeolite concentration runner equipment (mainly powder zeolite molecular sieve)
The zeolite concentrating runner is based on ceramic fiber, and the surface of the runner is coated with our company's homemade powdery hydrophobic zeolite to make a disc. Previously, the barrier to the domestic zeolite runners' difficulty in producing was the adsorbent itself. Too low efficiency or insufficient adsorption capacity would have a huge impact on stability.
Another use of the zeolite runner is to make the powdery hydrophobic zeolite adsorbent into strips or granules, and fill it in each section of the runner, using the same working principle as the concentrated runner process.
2. Used in fixed adsorption bed (mainly granular and honeycomb)
Traditional adsorbents use honeycomb activated carbon. However, it has been proven in practice that activated carbon is not suitable and has low humidity requirements for exhaust gas, usually less than about 50%. Moreover, activated carbon regeneration is difficult, adsorption performance is greatly affected by water vapor, regeneration Defects in the process such as poor safety and prone to fire. Therefore, a more stable hydrophobic zeolite adsorbent is urgently needed to replace activated carbon, and zeolite honeycomb molecular sieves and bar zeolite molecular sieves are the best choices.
